Less than 24 hours after the disappointing 37-17 loss to Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, the Virginia Cavaliers face yet another quarterback dilemma: not having one.
Sophomore Anthony Colandrea plans to enter the transfer portal after being benched in favor of Tony Muskett, who made his first start of the season against the Hokies last night.
Colandrea leaves Charlottesville with two years of eligibility remaining.
Colandrea’s short career in the orange and blue has been inconsistent to say the least. After being vaulted into action as a freshman due to Muskett dealing with injuries, he showed the potential to be Virginia’s quarterback of the future despite making his fair share of mistakes as a young and inexperienced quarterback.
