UVA football season opener vs Richmond set for 9:17 restart after weather delay

The severe weather appears to have passed, and the Virginia Cavaliers and Richmond Spiders are back out on the field!

After a delay of more than two hours due to severe weather in the area, the game is set to restart at 9:17 pending no additional lightning in the surrounding.

The Cavaliers will be hoping to avoid a post-delay collapse like they suffered against James Madison in last year’s home opener.
