UVA basketball is at the point where no one will question the validity of the program. A program once obliged to reach the NCAA Tournament once every five years, now has the aspirations of winning titles instead.
Last night, as the NBA Draft commenced in Brooklyn, New York, another building block for the Virginia basketball program would be set in stone by the end of the night. Now former UVA G/F Justin Anderson was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the 21st pick in the draft – the highest pick for a Virginia Cavaliers player in 10 years.
