UVA Basketball: 30 seconds will suffice

UVA basketball has been known lately for its stifling defense, often times holding opponents to last-second heaves before the shot clock runs out. This season however, in hopes to speed up the game, the NCAA has implemented a 30-second shot clock instead of the previous existing 35-second clock.

Many UVA supporters believe this sudden change may deter the Cavaliers game plan forcing them to adjust instead of building on what is an already stable scheme. This is not entirely accurate; based upon the criteria this change to the rule may in fact put the Hoos on the beneficiary side rather the loser.
