It’s hard not to get caught up in the NCAA tournament this time of year, and alums of the squads participating are no different. When Virginia took on Oklahoma in the Round of 32, two current NBA teammates had a fun side bet. Justin Anderson, who played at UVA from 2012-15, and Trae Young, who played at Oklahoma last season, are both members of the Atlanta Hawks. They got together to watch the Cavaliers take on the Sooners, with something riding on the outcome.
Teammate Kent Bazemore documented the duo watching together on his Instagram story:
The Cavaliers prevailed, moving on to the Sweet 16 with a comfortable 63-51 win over the Sooners.
