Ahead of this Saturday’s much-anticipated matchup with the Maryland Terrapins, Virginia Cavaliers head coach Tony Elliott gave injury updates on a few starters.
McKale Boley (Left Tackle)
Starting left tackle McKale Boley missed the first two games of the season, and Elliott didn’t have much of an update other than to confirm the junior is still day-to-day, like he was last week.
“Boley is day-to-day,” Elliott said. “He’s out moving around, so we’re hopeful we’ll get him back pretty soon.”
Fortunately for UVA, converted tight end Jack Witmer has performed valiantly at left tackle with Boley out.
