The Virginia Cavaliers are officially on a winning streak and are playing their best basketball right in time for the most challenging part of their schedule. Virginia (12-12, 5-8 ACC) is now tied for 11th in the ACC standings, and their 75-61 win over a wounded Georgia Tech (11-13, 5-8 ACC) team was a win nonetheless and a much needed one at that.
Virginia faces a tough test ahead at Virginia Tech next Saturday and then has a quick turnaround to face Duke at John Paul Jones Arena the following Monday. Then the Cavaliers go on the road to the state of North Carolina for two challenging away games versus UNC and Wake Forest in the last week of February.
