The Virginia Cavaliers lost to the No. 8 Notre Dame Fighting Irish 35-14 on Saturday evening. Despite a back-and-forth first quarter, Notre Dame ran away with the win in the second quarter. The ‘Hoos now stand 5-5 on the season and remain one win away from bowl eligibility with just two games remaining on the schedule.
