The No. 8 Virginia Men’s Lacrosse team took a brutal hit this week as it was announced that third year midfielder Ryan Conrad would miss the rest of the season with a lower extremity injury. Conrad hit the field with what looked like a no-contact knee injury in last Saturday’s loss against No. 12 Syracuse.

Conrad had four goals, three assists, and 23 ground balls through the 4+ games he played this season, and is an integral part of the Cavaliers’ face off and clearing game. He’s an outstanding two-way midfielder for Coach Tiffany, and was named to the Tewaaraton watch list as one of the best 50 players in the country.
