On July 17, Bryan Fetzer, the Director of Virginia Track and Field and Cross Country stepped down and retired from coaching. Fetzer had been in this role for nine years after stints at Stanford, Kentucky, and Oklahoma. Prior to that, he was the head coach for Virginia Cross Country for four years and an assistant coach at Virginia for four before that.
