Virginia men’s lacrosse senior midfielder Ryan Conrad was announced Friday as the winner of the Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award for men’s lacrosse in 2019.
Conrad bounced back from a season-ending knee injury in 2018 to notch 46 points for the Hoos in 2019 (18 goals, 28 assists). He leads all offensive players in Division I with 83 ground balls—the ultimate “hustle stat” in lacrosse. Conrad has been named All-ACC, second-team All America by Inside Lacrosse, and first-team All America by USILA. The Atlas LC of the fledgling Premier Lacrosse League picked Conrad second overall in the inaugural league draft.
