Reviewing how UVA athletics performed in the fall non-revenue sports

Most of Saturday’s focus will be on the Commonwealth Cup in football, but the Virginia Cavaliers will also be hosting two critical matches of their own. The women’s volleyball team concludes their regular season in Mem Gym at 1 p.m. against Boston College, while men’s soccer hosts UMass in the national Sweet Sixteen at 5:00.

With everything else having concluded, here is a dive into UVA’s performance in the fall non-revenue sports.

Cross Country

Both programs earned automatic bids to the NCAA Championships after dominating the Southeast Regionals. The women finished 13th, while the men placed at a mere 22nd out of 31 participants.
