In a span of three days, the Virginia football team’s quarterback depth has thinned considerably, as Greyson Lambert and Corwin Cutler have announced their transfers out of the program. Lambert started most of last season and was listed as the backup on the post-spring depth chart, while Cutler was No. 3 at the position.

The departures leave the Cavaliers with two scholarship quarterbacks ahead of next season: Matt Johns, who was named the starter after spring practice, and incoming freshman Nick Johns out of Gonzaga College High School in the District.
