Two former Virginia Cavaliers stars heard their name in this weekend’s NFL Draft, as the Kansas City Chiefs selected safety Juan Thornhill with the 63rd pick and the San Francisco 49ers took cornerback Tim Harris 198th overall. Plenty of other Virginia Cavaliers also signed with NFL teams as undrafted free agents following the completion of the draft on Saturday evening. On the lacrosse front, the men’s team stormed back from four goals down in the fourth quarter to defeat North Carolina, 14-13, advancing them to the ACC Tournament championship game.
