Previewing Virginia basketball vs No. 13 Clemson

The Virginia Cavaliers men’s basketball team (14-14, 7-10) picked up their best win of the season on Wednesday, beating a strong Wake Forest squad on the road, 83-75.

Isaac McKneely was sensational. He was bobbing and weaving around defenders before pulling the trigger and splashing jumpers like 2016 Steph Curry. He dropped 27 points on 10/14 from the field with four threes. Dai Dai Ames and Andrew Rohde added 14 and 13 points each, and Jacob Cofie provided a spark off the bench with 12 points.

Wake Forest recovered from multiple double-digit deficits in the second half, before the ‘Hoos were finally able to pull away in the final five minutes.
