For the first time since starting the year 3-0, the Virginia Cavaliers men’s basketball team has won three straight games. UVA almost squandered a double-digit lead in Blacksburg on Saturday, but Isaac McKneely’s ridiculous three-point shooting (22 points, 6/14 from three) was just enough to push the ’Hoos past the Hokies, 73-70.
Virginia’s sharpshooter was on fire down the stretch, scoring 16 points in the second half and repeatedly hitting big-time shots to keep Virginia Tech from taking the lead.
