The waiting is almost over. After months of anticipation, the No. 2 Virginia Cavaliers will begin regular season action on Friday, kicking off the first of three games in Puerto Rico.
2025 marks the Puerto Rico Challenge debut, with the hope of expanding the college game into a place renowned for its passion for baseball. In addition to the action on the field, local aspiring student-athletes will get to interact with the players and learn about the university admission process at the College Fair.
The Puerto Rico Challenge features eight schools with gameplay divided into two venues.
