COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ameryst Alston scored 24 points and Kelsey Mitchell added 23 to lead No. 9 Ohio State to a 93-73 victory over Virginia on Monday night.
The Buckeyes (8-3) scored the first nine points of the game and never trailed.
Virginia got as close as three points in the third quarter, but Ohio State dominated the fourth by a 27-16 margin to win going away.
Alex Hart had 19 points for the Buckeyes, Shayla Cooper added 13 and Asia Doss had 10.
Faith Randolph of Virginia scored 26 points, including making 4 of 6 3-point attempts.
