Devon Hall scored 16 points to lead the Hoos, and redshirt first year DeAndre Hunter had a big game with 10 points and seven rebounds in the statement win. Virginia (14-1, 3-0 ACC) shot 45% from the field and 36% from three in the win, finishing with 11 turnovers.
UNC shot 30% from the field and 35% from three with 19 turnovers that led to 25 points for UVA.
