One 12 seed got its first NCAA Tournament win in program history. Another staged a huge comeback then hung on for a double-overtime victory. An 11 seed also pulled an upset, and, as usual, the No. 1 seeds have so far assured themselves a spot in the second round.
Not bad for the opening day at the NCAA Tournament.
