Virginia Cavaliers has parted ways with head coach Mike London after six seasons.
Mike London is out after six seasons at Virginia. Despite what had been some highly rated recruiting classes, he was 14-34 in the ACC. His Cavalier teams had an overall record of 27-46. London was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Coach of the Year in 2011 after guiding UVA to the Chick-fil-A Bowl.
Another big factor in his dismissal according to a source was the fact that attendance for UVA games had plummeted.
The UVA coaching job is considered in the upper half of Power 5 jobs by many coaches FOX Sports has spoken to this fall.
