Men’s soccer earns a big win at home, Bryce Perkins named to award candidate list

On Monday, we detailed all of the former Virginia Cavaliers playing professional basketball and discussed UVA baseball’s 2019 schedule, which features eight NCAA Tournament teams from a season ago.

No. 10 Virginia Men’s Soccer (7-1-2) looked impressive yesterday night, running away in their game against No. 5 Denver (10-1-2), 3-0. Freshman Daryl Dike, who scored the game winner last week against Wright State, found the back of the net twice.

QB Bryce Perkins, who has already thrown for 1,125 yards and ran for 341, was named one of the thirty candidates for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award yesterday.
