Malcolm Brogdon’s strong start to the 2020-21 NBA season continues as the Virginia alum got a last-second floater to fall for the win in an overtime victory for the Indiana Pacers against the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday night. With the score tied at 116-all and the clock ticking away, Brogdon waited for his moment at the top of the arc.
As the clock hit eight seconds, the 2017 NBA Rookie of the Year drove past his defender. He stopped at the free throw line, took as step back, and then let loose a floater that would be extremely familiar to Virginia fans.
