Former UVA basketball star Joe Harris signed a deal with the Brooklyn Nets this evening for 2 years and $2 million.

After undergoing foot surgery in January, the free agent guard was traded in a salary cap move by the eventual NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers to the Orlando Magic, who then released him. Harris only appeared in five games this past season after playing in 51 in his rookie year, including five playoff games.
