More accolades continue to roll in for the Virginia Cavaliers’ big three of De’Andre Hunter, Kyle Guy, and Ty Jerome.
On Tuesday, the Associated Press released their All-American teams and all three were named.
Yes, Zion Williamson was named the Player of the Year, to nobody’s surprise.
Hunter and Guy were both named to the Third Team. This is Hunter’s first year being named while Guy was named to the Third Team last year as well. Guy becomes just the third player in program history to be named an AP All-American multiple years joining Ralph Sampson, who was a First Team AP All-American in ‘81, ‘82, and ‘83, and Malcolm Brogdon was a Second Team All-American in 2015 and a First Team All-American in 2016.
