How the running game helped UVA football dominate Richmond

The Virginia Cavaliers took care of business inside Scott Stadium on Saturday evening with a commanding 34-13 win over the Richmond Spiders. While the weather was uncooperative for the second-straight home opener — leading to a two-hour and eighteen-minute delay midway through the second quarter — the ‘Hoos left no doubts, steamrolling their in-state opponent on both sides of the ball to start the 2024 campaign 1-0.
