The Virginia Cavaliers are 2-0 following Saturday night’s comeback win versus the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, and sophomore quarterback Anthony Colandrea has been a driving force in Virginia’s early season success. Saturday night’s performance from Colandrea was another step in the right direction for UVA’s starter.
Both anecdotally and analytically, Colandrea is a different player in 2024. While he threw a pair of interceptions versus Wake – one of which came on an unlucky pass breakup in the backfield – he gathered himself.
After the first interception, Colandrea marched UVA downfield for a pair of second quarter touchdowns.
