No. 9 Georgia thrashed Louisiana-Monroe 51-14 in a lightning-shortened season opener this afternoon. In the victory, University of Virginia transfer Greyson Lambert completed 8-of-12 passes for 141 yards and a pair of touchdowns. More importantly, he was not sacked once all game.

Because Lambert’s linemen kept him clean in the pocket, he has to repay them with sweet treats. Lambert will buy his blockers ice cream tomorrow, as per a tradition started by former Georgia star signal caller Aaron Murray.

Greyson Lambert plans to take his offensive line out for ice cream tomorrow since he wasn’t sacked today.
