Four takeaways from Virginia baseball’s series sweep over Dartmouth

The Virginia Cavaliers continued their home stand with a much needed feel good weekend, blowing out Dartmouth in all three games.

The ‘Hoos jumped off to an early 4-0 lead in the series opener and never looked back, stringing together 11 hits and five walks, while aided by three Big Green errors. 11-3 was the final.

A five-run fourth inning lifted UVA over the top in Saturday’s contest, with six different Cavaliers collecting multi-hit games. Chris Arroyo added his third home run of the season on a towering shot to right in the 11-1 victory.
