Four takeaways from UVA lacrosse’s win over Towson

The Virginia Cavaliers lacrosse team was able to stifle Towson’s offense during a neutral-site game in Houston on Saturday. After going down 4-3 in the first half, the ‘Hoos rattled off eight consecutive goals to take an 11-4 lead with 5:52 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Virginia improved to 3-3 ahead of a crucial matchup with No. 1 Maryland on Saturday at 4:00 PM ET at Klöckner Stadium.
