Evaluating Virginia football’s 2024 wide receivers room

The Virginia Cavaliers football team has produced some exceptional wide receivers in the past five years from Olamide Zaccheaus to Dontayvion Wicks to Malik Washington. Second-year receivers coach Adam Mims looks to build on last season’s success with an even deeper receiver room in 2024.

Star receiver Malik Washington is gone – drafted in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL draft by the Miami Dolphins – leaving a massive, 1400-yard-and-nine-touchdown-void to fill in the Virginia offense.

Washington broke numerous records in what turned out to be the best season for a UVA wide receiver in program history.
