The Virginia Cavaliers football team has produced some exceptional wide receivers in the past five years from Olamide Zaccheaus to Dontayvion Wicks to Malik Washington. Second-year receivers coach Adam Mims looks to build on last season’s success with an even deeper receiver room in 2024.
Star receiver Malik Washington is gone – drafted in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL draft by the Miami Dolphins – leaving a massive, 1400-yard-and-nine-touchdown-void to fill in the Virginia offense.
Washington broke numerous records in what turned out to be the best season for a UVA wide receiver in program history.
