As we approach the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, an evaluation of the Virginia Cavaliers women’s swim and dive team is not only timely, but impressive.
Virginia athletes make up 25% of the USA women’s Olympic Swim Team. And frankly, it isn’t surprising. The program has dominated ACC and National competition for years and earns stellar marks from Streaking the Lawn across four categories.

The last five years are easy to evaluate when four of them ended with national titles.
That’s right: Virginia women’s swim and dive won their fourth consecutive NCAA Championship in 2024 – UVA’s 34th title overall.
