As the 2023-2024 athletic year has come to an end for the Virginia Cavaliers, we at Streaking the Lawn will be running a state of the program series for the numerous athletic programs that are part of the university.
Grading the men’s basketball program from the 2019-2020 season to the 2023-2024 season should be a fairly easy task, and my grades shouldn’t provoke any dramatic statements from our audience. Things have been pretty smooth sailing for the past five years. From the basketball jerseys the guys come out of the tunnel wearing to the offensive schemes/game plans, honestly, it feels like the John Wooden UCLA days.
