With signing day for the class of 2020 still two weeks away, the Virginia Cavaliers got started on their class of 2021 with a commitment on Tuesday from Maryland defensive lineman Terion Sugick.
Sugick, a 6’2, 290-pound defensive tackle from National Christian Academy in Fort Washington, is a consensus three-star across 247, Rivals, and ESPN. His 247 Composite rating is 85.27. Sugick chose UVA over offers from Florida, Louisville, NC State, North Carolina, West Virginia, and Maryland, among others.
The commitment comes hot on the heels of Sugick’s unofficial visit to Charlottesville for the Hoos’ division-clinching win over Virginia Tech:
Sugick lives up to his “Tank” moniker in game film, with a stout frame and good strength to anchor against blocking offensive linemen.
