While some parts of the East Coast saw snow flurries this weekend, Charlottesville continued its flurry of commitments to the Virginia Cavaliers football program as Aidan Ryan announced his plans to play for UVA.
Ryan—a 6-foot, 190-pound defensive back—hails from James Monroe High School in Fredericksburg. He is the Hoos’ fourth commitment from the Commonwealth this cycle, joining quarterback Jay Woolfolk (Richmond), linebacker Michael Green (Williamsburg), and wide receiver Malachi Fields (Charlottesville). Ryan is a three-star on both 247 and Rivals; his 247 Composite is 82.99.
Virginia beat out Ryan’s other suitors, which include Louisville, Vanderbilt, ECU, App State, Army, Navy, and most of the Ivy League.
