Friday night, the Milwaukee Bucks jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals thanks to a 125-103 drubbing of the Toronto Bucks. Virginia alum Malcolm Brogdon — who returned from a plantar fasciitis injury after nearly eight weeks of inaction — was outstanding in the win with 14 points on 5-for-10 shooting (3-for-6 from three) and five assists. But after the game may have been the highlight of the night for the young second year guard.
Brogdon launched his charity initiative, Hoops2o in October of 2018 as the NBA arm of fellow Virginia alum Chris Long’s Waterboys charity.
