Devon Hall scored a career-high 25 as the No. 3 Virginia Cavaliers handled the NC State Wolfpack 68-51. The Hoos shot 56% from the field for the game, including 57% (8-for-14 from three) and went an impressive 14-for-16 from the free throw line. Kyle Guy added 17 points and Isaiah Wilkins had 10 for the Hoos.
NC State forced Virginia into 15 turnovers, but were unable to capitalize as they shot just 41% from the field and went 2-for-16 from three. Torin Dorn led the way for the Wolfpack with 16 points.
Ty Jerome got the scoring started for the Hoos on a layup, but NCSU’s seven foot center Omer Yurtseven answered with a pretty hook shot on the other end to tie it at two.
