Virginia Cavaliers quarterback Brennan Armstrong earned his third ACC Quarterback of the Week honors after leading his team from 17 points down in the fourth quarter to a 34-33 win at Louisville on Saturday.
The junior with the fitting last name completed 40 of 60 passes on the day for 487 yards and three touchdowns, the fourth time this season he’s passed for more than 400 yards in a game. Virginia put up three touchdowns in the final quarter, including a game-winning pass to TE Grant Misch with just 22 seconds left on the clock, a drive that included two fourth-down conversion passes of 16- and 17-yards, respectively.
