It was a big weekend in Charlottesville for the ‘Hoos. As football continues to improve its record and we kickoff pre-season basketball, our recaps are looking more exciting each week.

Virginia football claims a 24-14 win against Boston College

To start, the Virginia Cavaliers (4-1) beat the Boston College Eagles (4-2) 24-14 in their Homecoming game on Saturday in Scott Stadium. What looked like a dooming loss for the first three quarters turned in to a remarkable fourth-quarter comeback for the ‘Hoos, when Chico Bennett Jr. caught a momentum-shifting interception. Virginia then scored their first touchdowns of the game after settling for field goals before the half.
