Today (Tuesday), the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and Allstate announced the ten players that will make up their 2016 Allstate NABC Good Works Team, including Virginia's superstar forward Anthony Gill.
The award is designed to honor players that are active within their communities and work towards helping those around them. Five members of the team come from Division I teams, while five come from D II, III, and NAIA teams. Gill was chosen out of 154 nominations received by NABC. A voting made up of former coaches, athletes, and media members and led by former Duke star Grant Hill whittled down the nominations to the final ten member team.
