The holiday season provided a choppy start to the ACC men’s basketball calendar. But non-conference play is officially finished, and the conference schedule is now in full swing with loaded slates of games every weekend between now and the end of the season.
Earlier this week, the Virginia Cavaliers earned a crucial win over NC State to breath some life into their season. And elsewhere across the conference, Duke remained dominant with a blowout of Virginia Tech, North Carolina’s disappointing campaign hit a new low in Louisville, and the league lost another great coach as Miami’s Jim Larrañaga stepped down just before the new year.
