The last time the ACC failed to produce a men’s College World Series participant, Star Trek: Enterprise aired its last episode, and The Office debuted on NBC. That was 2005. 19 years later, half of the Omaha field of eight would be from the ACC: Florida State, NC State, North Carolina, and Virginia. And yet, just one National Champion has emerged from the conference in the last 69 years: Virginia in 2015.
