No surprises in the first day of the 2016 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament.
Not a lot of surprises this afternoon as the higher-ranked seeds advanced to reach the second round of the 2016 ACC Tournament. One game was a tight race, while the other involved Boston College, whose yearlong nightmare of going winless in both ACC football and basketball finally draws to a close.
At one point hitting three straight triples, NC State's freshman Maverick Rowan scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Wolfpack past Wake Forest, 75-72, holding off the Demon Deacons, who had a chance on their final possession to tie the game.
