We're back again with another edition of Look 'Hoos Tweeting. As always, UVA's student athletes took every thought to the world of Twitter - providing another great week of tweets for me to choose from. In this week's selection, we'll get a look at the difference between UVA and SEC athletes, learn from the wise 'Uncle Michael', read about the demise of UVA's undergraduate females, and also learn some lessons in fandom following a tough loss to Southern Miss last Saturday. Let's get to it...

Only a UVA student athlete would be asking questions like this to the world of twitter. Well, Mr. Royal - it was indeed a publicly traded company until being purchased as a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway in 1996. I'm guessing that the shares in Mr. Buffet's publicly traded holding company are a little too expensive for any college athlete not playing in the SEC.
2. Next up comes a couple of selections from starting Wide Receiver Tim Smith. Let's hope he catches more passes than tweets next week!

This tweet stuck out to me as one that provides some real perspective into what these kids (kids being UVA and other student athletes) go through every day for only a limited return on investment on the field. As avid fans, perhaps we need to take a step back sometimes and understand the hours upon hours of work these kids are putting in before we yell at Rocco for throwing interceptions or Kris Burd for dropping a pass. These guys want to make it to a bowl game far more than any fan.

I had deemed him Max-a-Million...but we may need to start calling him Mad Max based on his apparent anger management issues. Despite Virginia's horrendous safety play to date, my advice to Rodney McLeod - RUN!

Preach it, Ross! While Kevin Royal is drowning his sorrows due to the NBA lockout, the rest of us will be enjoying the uber-superior excitement of college basketball.
6. The Twitter world was abuzz in Charlottesville on Monday night with the Cowgirls hosting the 'Skins in Dallas. Most of the Cavaliers were pulling for Washington, but there were a few out there - including Rodney McLeod - who jumped on the Dallas ship. It was an entertaining night, to say the least. Here are a couple of my favorites:

Why Mr. Phelps, I couldn't have said it any better myself. Even though the 'Skins lost (side note - am I the only one that sees the extremely strong correlation between the way the Skins play and our dear Cavaliers?...3rd and 26, MeLo - really!?!?) - Romo will forever be some dukey butter [not sure exactly what that is - guessing you don't want to spread it on your bagel, however].

Now I live in the 'burbs of Loudoun County and thought I heard gunshots go off Monday night, so I'm not sure this type of behavior is only reserved for the hood following a Redskins loss. #HTTR
7. @Lbow70 (Offensive Guard Luke Bowanko) Poop. Thanks to all the fans who stayed till the end. we won't stop working we will be better next week.
Not sure I could have summarized my feelings following Saturday's loss better in one word than Luke achieved with 'Poop.' Note that the players notice the stadium emptying way too early as well, so let's try to stay until the clock strikes 00:00 this week...the players are working harder to get better, and so should the fans.
8. Next up are a pair of tweets featuring some disturbing behaviour by some of our Cavaliers. These guys may need a social media publicist to help protect their images.

It appears that big Jay Mathis has moved on from the UPS girl and has now set his sights on leggings girl. Nothing like a well fitting pair of leggings. Based on his size, I'm guessing he's not lying because there's no way he's taking flight.
10. We finish off this week's edition with some very disheartening news from a couple of Cavalier football players - it appears Virginia's female population are letting themselves go. Sorry, gentlemen.
