Villanova freshman guard Donte DiVincenzo has fractured foot, out 4-6 weeks

Per an official release from the Athletics Department, further tests on Villanova Wildcats freshman guard Donte DiVincenzo have shown a fracture in fifth metatarsal bone of his right foot. The injury will likely keep DiVincenzo out until late January.

Here's Wright on the news:

"We’re disappointed for Donte," stated Villanova head coach Jay Wright. "He has made such great progress as a freshman and we were counting on him to make a big contribution. Donte will work hard to get back and I know he will be better because of this.

This is a tough, but not entirely unexpected blow for the team after DiVincenzo sat out the victory over La Salle and Jay Wright expressed his concern to the media following the game.
