Villanova football’s Justin Covington announced that he has torn his ACL, on Wednesday.
The redshirt junior running back announced the news via Twitter.

Covington had a team-high 727 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 90 carries. He ran for over 100 yards in each of the first five games of the season, before sustaining an injury early in the Wildcats’ 35-28 win over William and Mary, where he had 53 yards and a touchdown.
