It was a close hard-fought game, but No. 1 Kansas was able to get the key plays down the stretch to win by a narrow 74-71 margin.
Phil Booth tied Kansas’ LaGerald Vick with a game-high 29 points. Eric Paschall finished with 17 points. Collin Gillespie added 15 points.
Dedric Lawson had 28 points off of a 10-for-15 shooting performance, with 12 rebounds to go along with them.
