After a brief one week reprieve, Villanova is back at the top of the AP Poll rankings with 52 first place votes. The Cats are ranked #1 for a fourth time this season after the rest of the AP Top 5 all lost this week. This marks the 15th week that the program has been ranked #1 overall in the past three seasons, more than double any other school during that period.
The Big East currently has four teams ranked in the Top 25. Xavier dropped to #10 after their loss to Providence. Seton Hall is up to #13, and is currently the only school unbeaten in Big East play.
