Villanova's all-time leading scorer Kerry Kittles has been hired by Princeton as an assistant coach. The 1996 grad has accepted a position on Mitch Henderson's staff. H/T to Josh Verlin for catching the news.
Kittles who scored 2,243 points as a Wildcat is also Nova's all-time steal leader with 277. The Louisiana native was drafted by the New Jersey Nets with the 8th overall in the 1996 NBA Draft. He played nine seasons in the NBA before returning to Villanova to receive his MBA in 2009.
Princeton finished the 2016 season with a 22-7 record and finished second in the Ivy League.
