Veltra Dawson was a 6'1" freshman guard from Illinois when the Villanova Wildcats won the 1985 National Championship.
During that championship season, Dawson played in 18 games and tallied season totals of 16 points and 6 assists in 49 minutes. He transferred to Evansville during his sophomore season.
His last known contact around Villanova was in 2009 when he attended Nova's Final Four game against North Carolina.
